Camping in Everfrost

There was supposed to be an informal guild event on Saturday, to go hunt the nameds in Everfrost for the heritage Eye for Power. We got together at the correct time, we even got to the World Tree Root to attempt to defeat the first named spawn.

He spawned, but we failed because we lacked a healer. It's amazing, because after coming from City of Heroes, a healer is not a necessity there. If you have enough controllers to do crowd control and debuffing, a healer isn't mandatory at all. However it seems that many "MMO Vets" are used to the idea that if a group doesn't have healing, it's not a good group. I can see where they get this idea from. I can also laud NCSoft for making City of Heroes a different kettle of fish compared to the standard fare out there for MMOs.

So anyway, we eventually managed to get a healer in, but by then we'd been camping that same spot for over 2 hours and we're all getting tired of it.

Eventually we called it quits, but in the meantime during the camp, I managed to get a couple of quests done and get 4 bubs of experience too.. not bad for a failed camp.
